Petkit Eversweet Ultra

The Petkit Eversweet Ultra is a smart water fountain with a built-in camera, automatic water change (drain & refill), a heater, separate clean and waste water tanks, and a replaceable filter cube. Localkit exposes its full feature set as Home Assistant entities via MQTT.

Installation

Localkit is installed through the Provisioning entry in the Web UI navigation. Once provisioning has succeeded, you are asked for a script — run the install script from the device shell over telnet (see How to connect):

To remove Localkit again:

wget -qO- http://tool.localkit.io/scripts/w7h/1.0.0/uninstall | sh

The script downloads all necessary files, places them in the correct directory, and patches the app-run script. Reboot the device afterwards to activate the changes.

Drinking & Pet Detection

The camera detects pets and drinking behavior. Each detection is published as a Home Assistant Event entity (see Activity Events) and recorded in the Activity Log, including the recognized pet's name. The drink_start/drink_over events share one activity entry and record the drinking duration.

To access the device:
